day 8

The communities for breath of the wild differ between extremely irritating and obnoxious to helpful and offering tricks for literally everything. When I joined a few discords in order to "pretend" like I needed help because I totally didn't... They gave me tricks to beating the mobs and easy ways to get past areas I honestly didn't want to bother with. The reddit communities on the other hand, were extremely toxic. I enjoyed yelling at people and complaining with a few about how irritating it is to climb literally anything in the game when it's raining and have to go across the entire world JUST TO GET AROUND A MOUNTAIN and for it to STOP RAINING WHEN YOU GET THERE. Other than screaming and yelling with me, the reddit community was kind of useless.

Day 9

Since the start of the game and the Zelda franchise, it isn't hard to tell that Breath of the Wild has a hero archetype with Link, the main character, trying to save princess Zelda from a villain who captured her. When the idea is simplified and taken out like this, it sounds a lot like Mario trying to kill Bowser while he keeps stealing his girl. The hard truth is that humanity develops in time of panic, fear, and disaster. In the game where Link teamed up with champions and other heroes to stop disaster and worked with one another to end everyone's suffering. Everyone could go to any village as they pleased if they avoided assassins and monsters but other than that, anyone could go anywhere. Oh! There's also the city that hates guys and is filled with only girls that still kicks people out but thats about it. (Don't know how they have kids or how they only have girls unless theres some way for two girls to get each other pregnant?!?) In real life disasters like WWII b...

Day 8

There's no way in hell I would replay this game even if someone paid me to do it. Don't get me wrong, the game isn't bad it's just a pain in the ass having to travel across the world and claim irritating things to progress like shrines. Doing riddles and puzzles is fun the first 20 times but after doing it 50 times, it loses it's spark and is just irritating. Not to mention having to start my stamina wheel over which makes running and climbing easier. Getting basic gear and armor and finish the starting quests and mid quests are still fun the first time but really irritating if I had to do them again. The enjoyment over the little things is nice but redoing them completely kills the entire joy.

Day 6

The characters themselves don't remember anything negatively you do to them because they can't be harmed by you. In one part of the game, there's a crazy flower lady who attacks you if you accidentally step on her flowers and took me 5 attempts because you have to slowly go around them but I didn't have the patience. The cutscene for her just to kill me took way too long plus dying to a girl who had no attacks and I have a GIANT TWO HANDED SWORD MADE TO CUT GIANT ROBOTS IN HALF AND HAVE KILLED A BUNCH OF BOSSES LIKE A CENTAUR THAT SHOOTS LIGHTNING BUT SHE SOMEHOW STILL KILLS ME. Whenever I try to kill her being stabbing, slashing, shooting her, setting her on fire, setting the ground around her on fire or even luring a mob across the map to kill her, she couldn't be killed no matter what so the npcs opinions can't be changed that way. They could be changed however, as you progress through the quests and help them save their land which results in the ones that al...

Day 5

How i'm moving around in the game and completing quests reveals that I don't like to simply follow where the game directs me to go and rather roam around. Since the beginning of the game, I thought the map looked really nice and clean and the quests shoot from all over the map skipping the middle quality so in order to enjoy it, I sometimes move towards things that look interesting like a giant cliff or skull cave to fight goblin creatures. I guess I also like challenging things seeing how I go out of my way to find mini-boss fights because they feel satisfying if you win BUT only if i'm genuinely interested in the challenge. The challenge can't be something like, "take four tests in one day and try to pass them all" because first of all, I hate tests. Secondly, i'm not interested in taking tests and who would be they're extremely boring and not entertaining at all.

Day 4

Image
I tried fighting the boss head on and skipping going through all the preparations in making the fight easier. The fight that should of just went from me beating four divine beasts in order to get farther in the game and help me defeat the boss ended with me rushing the castle and almost instantly dying to just the boss's minions. Not only was this from pure excitement, there was also a hint of annoyance from having to take a long time to beat a boss. Breath of The Wild also gives me a sense of irritation and anger from having to climb mountains and other terrain when it is raining and you instantly slide off of it and have to wait 10-15 minutes just for a simple storm to end just to climb A SMALL CLIFF. The satisfaction from beating a mini-boss makes up for it with usually good cash or weapons from them. The amount of weapons that break during a fight doesn't make it completely joyous.

Day 3

Image
King starts to explain the downfall of his kingdom saying that it fell 100 years ago. Link woke up from a sleep 100 years ago in a temple called the shrine of resurrection hinting that he died and was reborn here. Dark cloud monster thats the shape of a dragon is obviously gonna be the villain in the story even before you hear the story and just see him. If a legend is shown in hieroglyphics then who is the one that sees into the future to draw them into this stone. From the dude in blue clothes, you can tell that there used to be freaking ninjas in this world so what the hell happened? #BringNinjasBack. From the hieroglyphics, do I get a fancy blue sword or is that just to get my hopes up? Zelda finally makes an appearance into the plot of the game. Was kinda hoping she would be in a game with her own name in it? Why am I only considered a knight and these four other fighters are considered champions?  My dark cloud monster dragon boy evil boss be shooting out magic taking control...
